When you decide to shop at Everlast Outdoor Products, you’re in for an exceptional product that can build your garden in one afternoon. Your garden design is only limited to your imagination. Given our basic designs you can grow your layout into various configurations and build 2nd and 3rd tiers for vertical gardening.
Aluminum as a building material; When we designed our outdoor series of products we put "durability at the top of the list. Our products are made with Aluminum alloy 6061 series with T6 hardness. This is structural aluminum and is used in building many outdoor projects in various industries;
window and door,
automotive,
utility sector to name a few.
In addition to the strength we have added environmentally friendly finish to keep it looking great for years to come. Our paint finishes, we apply exceed the American Architectural Manufactures Associations (AAMA) paint standards 2604 used by many as the industry standard for outdoor products. Our products are tested for various environmental conditions such as UV resistance, Acidic and Caustic / Alkaline conditions of the soils, liquid and granulated fertilizers in additional to the physical endurance from impact resistance. In short our product is designed and built to last for years to come, unlike PVC, or wooded boards.
Flexibility and Sustainability was designed into our system When we designed our product we added flexibility and sustainability into our product. Our design allows for simple composting pot to placed in the center. Our corner pieces are design to accept various trellis designs to be incorporated into the box.

Maintenance of the Everlast Garden Box;
Weed whip the outer perimeter area without concern of damaging the paint finish. The paint is electrostatically applied at the factory. You can even use sprayed weed killer or other grass preventative products without concern of paint or metal damage.

Environmentally: our garden boxes do not utilize harmful PVCs or chemically treated lumber. Aluminum is 100% recyclable and desired by many recycle centers similar to beverage cans.

Powder Coated:
When selecting our finishes we placed environmental and fashion as the important factors. We selected our paint suppliers based on the performance and color selections we can offer.

Wood Sublimation:
Wood Sublimation provides the look and feel (textures) of real wood. The process is an added feature in addition to the powder coating. It also offers the same paint finish performance as powder coating but with a style and fashion for the long term.

Our product was designed and tested so it will not become a problem for the garden but rather add flexibility in growing your vegetable garden or showcasing your flowers and other plants. Our aluminum is used by architects world wide in building various structures

Material Review: Pros and Cons
"EVERLAST" Series Aluminum Garden Boxes has many design advantages compared to the existing materials offered and WHY ALUMINUM is todays Best choice.
Wood/Heavy timbers: Lack strength and are subject to insects, rotting and weather fading. Aluminum will Not be subjected to insects or rotting due to the environment.
Wood/Treated timbers (Side Boards): Lack strength, and must apply a protective finish annually, subject to insects, weather fading and warpage. Aluminum will Not be subjected to insects, warpage or fading with the UV protectant in the Powder Coating.
Plastic/PVC: PVC has possible BPA additives, non-UV resistant, loses its shape and physical properties over environmental exposure, such as sunlight UV Rays, causing Cracking and lacks the physical strength of Aluminum.
Wood Composite: Usually held together with Formaldehyde and will break down after exposure to environmental conditions, causing swelling and possible cracking over a short period of time. Aluminum will Not break down due to exposure to environmental conditions, from extreme cold to extremes heat and Aluminum will Not swell or crack over time.

Site Preparation:
Various options for Garden Preparation:
1. Use of newspaper or cardboard to reduce any weeds from coming up to the garden before you place your soils in the box.
2. Use of Wire or screen mesh before you add soils to keep out burrowing rodents that may attack the roots of your plants in your garden box.
3. To secure your box to the ground without digging the box into the ground we suggest hammering Gray-Rebar at least 6-8" into the ground through the corner post holes so it will not be viewed.
4. Helpful Hints: Contact your local tree trimming company to see if they will provide you free wood chips for your walking paths or bottom garden box fill to reduce purchases of soil and provide a good composting base. Tree trimming companies usually must pay to have a land fill to accept the wood chips and branches.

Warranties:
Product is guarantied for its intended use, to grow and showcase plants. The material is guarantied for 15 years and paint finish is guarantied for 5 years for color and gloss per AAMA 2604 standards.
Care of Products: Wipe with damp cloth. Simple dishwashing soap & water rinse and wipe with cloth.
